Poster Presentation Information
A Poster Session is a graphic presentation of an author's research. Authors illustrate their findings by displaying graphs, photos, diagrams and a small amount of text on the poster boards. Poster Sessions will take place in the Atrium just in front of the exhibit hall. Authors will hold discussions with attendees who are circulating among the poster boards. Please note that there are no virtual presentations. All presenters must attend and present in Denver.
Poster Preparation
There are many resources to assist with preparing your poster for presentation. The ACA has specifically created this guide to help authors when creating posters.
• Recommended size is square 40” high x 40” wide (101.6 cm x 101.6 cm)
• Posters should be no larger than 40" high by 45" wide (101.6 cm high x 114.3 cm wide)
Use Microsoft PowerPoint, Publisher or similar software to create your poster. Final posters can be submitted in a .pdf format; other file formats will not be accepted for uploading.
Virtual Poster Gallery
The virtual poster display will be hosted by the ACA on Oxford Abstracts. The ACA holds a virtual poster gallery to enhance accessibility and engagement for participants. The virtual format provides flexibility, enabling attendees to view posters at their convenience, fostering greater interaction and collaboration.
If you are presenting a poster, please make sure to upload a virtual version your poster to the gallery by June 21, 2024. This step is essential for your poster to be featured in the program. Instructions for uploading your poster to the Oxford Abstract site will be sent to you via email.
Poster Printing Details
It is the poster presenters responsibility to ensure that a high-resolution printed poster is displayed in the designated area of the poster presentation. You may use a printer near the conference venue or print your poster in advance and transport it with you. The costs of creating and shipping the poster display are the responsibility of the authors. The ACA does not assume responsibility for the printing or storage of your poster and will not retain posters left hanging after the session concludes.
